AKADEMIYA2063, in collaboration with the Rwanda Environment Management Authority (REMA), is hosting a CACCI knowledge seminar. The seminar aims to present and discuss the CACCI analysis for Rwanda, focusing on climate risk, vulnerability, country status assessment, impact of climate change, mitigation, and adaptation pathways. It also seeks to foster mutual learning among local partners and stakeholders on data and analytics related to climate change impacts, ambitions, and actions.
CACCI, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), works to accelerate the implementation of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) by addressing the need for data and analytics and supporting institutional and coordination capacities. This joint initiative closely collaborates with the African Union Commission, AKADEMIYA2063, the African Network of Agricultural Policy Research Institutes (ANAPRI), and climate stakeholders in selected countries to inform climate planning and enhance capacities for evidence-based policymaking in advancing climate goals.
Key objectives of the seminar include:
· Presenting and discussing the CACCI analysis for Rwanda.
· Facilitating mutual learning among local partners and stakeholders on data and analytics related to climate change impacts, ambitions, and actions.
Join us for this insightful seminar to learn more about CACCI's efforts in Rwanda and contribute to strengthening climate resilience and sustainability.
