The Africa-Europe think tanks network Ukåmå and AKADEMIYA2063 will host a webinar on “Green Industrialization Investment Opportunities and Challenges in Africa’s Agrifood Sector” in partnership with the African Centre for Technology Studies (ACTS), the European Centre for Development Policy Management (ECDPM), and the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI). The webinar will bring together private and public decision-makers and experts for a roundtable discussion and interactions with the audience.
Panelists will discuss:
- Opportunities and challenges related to green industrialization in the agrifood sector in Africa;
- Concrete opportunities for collaboration in investment and policy alignment across African countries and between Africa and Europe in the greening agrifood industry;
- Tackling challenges related to financing, market access/opportunity, and inclusivity to unleash the green growth and job creation potential in agrifood processing.
