AKADEMIYA2063’s senior leaders and scientists will join government leaders, agrifood systems actors, and development partners in Kigali for AFS Forum 2026, marking 20 years of food systems transformation. Under the theme “Investing in Africa’s Agrifood Systems: Nourishing Nations, Growing Jobs, Building Resilience,” the Forum will explore policy interventions to attract investment, boost productivity, build resilience to multidimensional shocks, and improve livelihoods, particularly for youth and women. As a knowledge partner, AKADEMIYA2063 will contribute to discussions on strengthening policy systems, state capability, and evidence-informed decision-making to accelerate implementation of the African Union Kampala CAADP Declaration and advance broader continental development goals.
