FROM COALITION TO ACTION
AKADEMIYA2063 and Welthungerhilfe (WHH), through the AgriBridge African-German Policy Network, are convening a webinar on Financing Africa's Agrifood Future.
Building on the launch of AgriBridge Policy Note #2 at the Africa Food Systems Forum (AFSF) 2026 in Kigali, this webinar will provide an opportunity to present the note's key findings and recommendations to a broader audience and to deepen the discussion on coalition-based approaches to financing agrifood systems.
The webinar will bring together a diverse range of perspectives. In addition to experts involved in the IFAD-AKADEMIYA2063-IFPRI Food Systems Financing Framework (3FS) and public development bank coordination initiatives, the discussion will explore the role of sovereign and nature-linked capital. It will also feature a civil society perspective through the CAADP Non-State Actors Group (CNG), reflecting the Policy Note's central message that sustainable agrifood systems financing requires coalitions that bring together public, private, concessional, and community actors.
The session will also provide a platform for participants who were unable to attend AFSF in person to contribute their perspectives and engage in AgriBridge's ongoing policy dialogue efforts.
