CPA Amos Kimebur is a dedicated and seasoned finance and administration professional with over two decades of comprehensive experience in accounting, finance, and management across various sectors in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has worked for reputable international and commercial organizations such as the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), the African Agricultural Technology Foundation (AATF) and Africas Voices Foundation (AVF) in Senior Finance roles. He has a proven track record in managing complex multi-dimensional programs and operations. At ILRI, he was the pioneer finance lead for Biosciences eastern and central Africa (BecA) Hub, a shared research platform that is a centre of excellence for biosciences in Africa. As the Head of Finance at AATF, he contributed to the incubation and management of start-ups with regional and continental footprint, such as EcoBasic Seeds Ltd, Agridrive Nigeria Ltd, and QualiBasic Seeds Kenya Ltd, demonstrating his versatility and entrepreneurial spirit.
As AKADEMIYA2063’s Director of Finance and Administration, he will be responsible for finance, administration, fiscal management, contracts, and grant management, as well as financial and grant reporting.
Her holds an MBA in Finance from Kenyatta University and CPA-K certification. He is an active member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), where he sits in the Professional Standards Sub-committee and also as an evaluator for the annual Financial Reporting (FiRe) Award, the most prestigious and coveted Award in East Africa for financial reporting. Amos is committed to upholding integrity, inclusivity, and respect for diversity, in all his engagements.
Prior to AKADEMIYA2063 Marie Jeanne worked as Administrative and Financial Assistant at IFPRI, an organization she joined in August 2017.
Marie Jeanne holds a bachelor’s degree in Logistics- Purchasing from Sainte Jeanne D’Arc Post-bac Institution in Dakar, a Master's degree in Administration and International Exchanges from UCAO Saint Michel and a Master's degree in Supply Chain from SUPDECO Dakar group.
Her past professional experience in administration, logistics and supply chain management was gained while working for World Vision’s national office in Senegal and for Plan International national and regional offices in Senegal.
Nancy holds an MBA in International Management from ISM Senegal. Prior to joining AKADEMIYA2063, Nancy held the position of Administrative Coordinator for the Malabo Montpellier Panel and Regional Strategic Analysis and Knowledge Support System (ReSAKSS) programmes at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI).
Before IFPRI, she worked as the Program Assistant for the MACEPA (Malaria Control and Elimination Programme in Africa) and SAYNA Press (Contraception) programmes at Programmes for Appropriate Technologies in Health (PATH) Senegal, where she provided administrative and financial support to the different team members.
Nancy also worked as a Project Assistant at A’KUWA Initiatives, where she helped transition the project into a Foundation which aims to improve quality of education in Senegalese Schools. She also worked as the Human Resources, Logistics, Communication, Translation and Photography Manager at Green’Act Association, a green business she co-founded which aims to sensitize schools and students on the importance of sanitation and waste management.
Her previous work experience includes Human Resources and Quality Management, gained whilst working as an intern respectively at WHO AFRO, and S.I.Agro Kirène.
Fatoumata holds a Master’s degree II in English from the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences of Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD). She started her career in 2006-2007 as a translator (French - English) for SONATEL Multimedia. She then was the Coordinator of Spanish Programs from 2009 to 2011 for the NGO TOSTAN while leading the activities of animation and discovery for the students coming from different locations in the United States of America as part of the cultural exchange program Operation Understanding.
From 2012 to 2013 Fatoumata held the position of Administrative Assistant at TRAGSA SENEGAL (Transformation Agraire SA/), an agricultural Spanish company based in Dakar. In 2015, she continued Interpreting with International Development Group LLC at USAID YA JJENDE.
Prior to assuming the position of Bilingual Administrative Assistant to the Director of IFPRI Africa (International Food Policy Institute) from 2018 to 2020, she successively held the position of Bilingual Administrative Assistant within the Law Firm Maître Moustapha NDOYE and for the Managing Director of SERVITECH.
Before joining AKADEMIYA 2063, Abdel Kader Ndiaye worked as Senior Driver for the IFPRI regional office in Dakar. Kader completed internships in various fields. In addition to responding to the daily logistical requests of the office, he was also the personal driver of the Director of IFPRI Africa during more than 9 years.
As a native of Dakar, Kader defines himself as a very open-minded adventurer who has had the chance to travel in several regions of Senegal and likes to discover new cultures.
Diane Karwera was born in Bujumbura, Burundi, where she attended primary and secondary school and got a diploma in Modern Literature. In 2001 she was elected best seller in a vacation company where she was booking vacations all over the world for families. In 2006 she went back to her country, Rwanda, for her university studies and got a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance at the University of Lay Adventists of Kigali “UNILAK” in 2011. In 2007 she started to work at RDtech as a cashier/receptionist, then later as an overall supervisor for the sales and technical team. From 2015 to 2016, she worked temporary at GBB Engineering Ltd as an admin and finance assistant. In 2017, she returned at RDTECH to work as an account assistant and office manager.
After joining AKADEMIYA2063 in March 2021 as a Receptionist/Office assistant, Diane Karwera currently holds the position of Facilities and Events Coordinator. She believes that working at this position is not only a title but being an eye of the company and being of service to everyone equally. When she is not busy whit her job, she has a hobby of social counseling and dialogues with people in different platforms; she also loves singing and reading.
Niwemfura Priscille joined the AKADEMIYA2063 Kigali office as a Receptionist in January 2022.
Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in social sciences specializing in social work from UTAB (University of Art and Technology of Byumba), she has experience working with different international development organizations.
Before joining AKADEMIYA2063, Priscille held the position of National Technical Assistant/Social Organization within the BTC (Belgian Technical Cooperation) in partnership with the Natural Resources Authority of Rwanda (RNRA/PAREF BE 2 project). She equally worked at the Ministry of Agriculture, serving as an intern in charge of the community development office, also holding the role of Social Worker in charge of social protection at the international NGO, AVSI Rwanda. Priscille has also conducted consultancy activities related to monitoring and evaluation as an FGD facilitator or data collector in different institutions such as IPA Rwanda and Care International.
Clemence holds a (DSECG) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Management and a CCA (Accounting Control and Auditing) Master issued by Cheikh Anta Diop University, Dakar (Senegal). She has nearly 10 years of experience working in the field of accounting.
Before joining AKADEMIYA2063, she worked at Enda SANTE (a branch attached to Enda Tiers Monde’s headquarters) from December 2011 to October 2017. She served in this Environmental NGO as a Senior Accountant in charge of the financial monitoring of programs involving different types of national and international partners (Intrahealth, Fhi360, Horizont3000, UN funds...)
More recently, she has been working at Colgate Palmolive Senegal as Accounts Payable Supervisor – West Coastal Africa for 3 years.
Her most challenging experience to this day was to lead the closing of Colgate Palmolive SENEGAL. During the closing process, she oversaw the Administration, HR department and accounting management. It was a great challenge but also an opportunity for acquiring more experience and a greater determination when it comes to facing challenging responsibilities.
Clemence is truly a people person. Thanks to her natural communication skills, it is easy for her to communicate effectively with partners and colleagues, which helps her keep good professional and personal relationships.
Teri Diallo is an Ivoirian and American young lady who spent her primary school years between Canada and Cote d’Ivoire. In 1995, she moved to the United States to follow her high school studies and graduated from Cambridge Rindge & Latin High School in Massachusetts.
For her university degree, she opted for finance like her older sisters and entered Boston University where she got a Bachelor in financial management in 2003. After completing her bachelor’s degree, she continued her studies through a Dual master’s and Certifications program offered by Boston University School of Management, and in 2005 she obtained two (2) master’s degrees, namely an MBA (Master in Business Administration) and a MIR (Master in International Relations) and Project Management, as well as a certificate as a fraud examiner.
After her academic studies, she decided to return to her native Côte d’Ivoire, and entered the professional world at the General Resources Department of the U.S. Embassy. As she did not have a degree in French language, she decided to take the competitive entrance exam for the École de Commerce et d’Administration des Entreprises (ESCAE) at the Institut National Polytechnique Houphouët-Boigny (INP-HB) in Yamoussoukro, where she was admitted to the engineering cycle and obtained a diploma in Bilingual Techniques and International Relations in 2007. Well-equipped academically, Teri embarked on a new international career in the humanitarian sector, working on emergency and rehabilitation programs around the world.
As a daughter of retired diplomats, Teri has traveled the world on numerous professional and tourist trips, namely to France, Portugal, Bangladesh, Haiti, Mali, Iraq, and the Central African Republic, to name but a few. Passionate about music, cinema, cooking and animal documentaries, Teri is also a true sportswoman and a fan of soccer. She also practices cycling and tennis as often as possible.
Mujawimana Jeanne d’Arc is a professional accountant qualified with ACCA; she is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Rwanda (ICPAR).
Jeanne d'Arc has demonstrated eleven years history of working in internal auditing, quality assurance, accountability, accounting, finance, bookkeeping, financial reporting. She is experienced in coordinating finance operations, specifically in public financial management, and she is familiar with International Financial Reporting Standards. Before joining AKADEMIYA2063, she served as Chief Internal Auditor at Rwanda Cooperation Initiative Ltd for five years, as Senior Internal Auditor at Rwanda Revenue Authority for three years and as an accountant at a public institution for approximately four years.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting from School of Finance and Banking (SFB)/ Rwanda.
Jeanne d'Arc is joining AKADEMIYA2063 as an accountant. She is passionate about accounts and her attention to details is an asset to promote Grants financial stewardship, accountability, reliability, and accuracy of financial information as well as proper implementation of donor policies and regulations.
Clementine is a certified public accountant; she has completed CPA part I and part II from KASNEB (CPA Kenya).
In 2012, Clementine earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, majored in Accounting Department, from University of Rwanda, College of Business and Economics (CBE), former School of Finance and Banking (SFB).
From 2012 to 2015, she began her journey of career in audit with KSK Associates Certified Public Accountants Rwanda Branch, where she served as external auditor working with different clients in various sectors such as INGOs, Health, selling, manufacturing and others for providing audit, accounting, taxation, and other financial services to the clients. Her achievements in audit were for computing, determining, and advising several clients firms on taxes, financial services, internal control system and risk management.
From 2015 to 2021, Clementine has extended her experience as accountant at Akagera Business Group Ltd and Crown Paints Rwanda Ltd respectively, where she was involved in bookkeeping of all the companies transactions, taxes filing, financial reporting and other accounting tasks related with selling and manufacturing companies.
2021 up to 2024, Clementine was working as accountant at Gabiro Agribusiness Hub Ltd, the Government project with aim to construct the first largest irrigation project in Eastern Province at Nyagatare, to attract more private investments in modern agricultural sector. She was the first accountant who started with this big and complex project for different finance, accounting, project’ s plans and budget development, procurement, logistics, administration responsibilities and managing donors’ funds.
Clementine is joining AKADEMIYA 2063 as an accountant. She is an ambitious, motivated, and multi-skilled accountant with a keen eye for details and working experience with accounts as assets in ensuring effective, transparent utilization and integrity of financial services.
Rolande was born in Benin. Due to her father’s diplomatic career, she started her primary education at the French High School in New York and continued her secondary education at Gaulle-Adenauer French High School in Bonn, Germany.
She graduated with honors from the University of Abomey Calavi (UAC) in Benin with a master’s degree in business law and legal careers. After that, in 2004, she moved to Switzerland, where she joined the Graduate Institute of Development Studies (Institut Universitaire d’Etudes du Développement - IUED), an academic institution specializing in the study and research on development issues.
In 2008, she returned to Benin, where she became a sales representative and then a branch manager at Africa Petroleum Service (APS), a holding company specializing in national and international public and/or private contracts. Through these various roles, Rolande has developed excellent skills in customer service, trade negotiation, and administrative management.
In 2017, she relocated to Dakar and started working as a management assistant at LOGISTICA, a freight transport company in Dakar. Since 2019, she has been serving as a bilingual assistant responsible for human resources at WEST AFRICA LOGISTICS LIMITED (WALL), a prominent transport and port logistics company.
Rolande joins AKADEMIYA2063 in October 2024 as an Office Assistant/Receptionist. She is enthusiastic about the opportunity to use her skills and qualities to enhance the organization’s performance. Rolande is also a Personal Development Coach, prioritizing people’s physical, mental, and social well-being.
